Seminar: challenges facing businesses in 2015
(VOVworld) – Vietnamese businesses are facing numerous opportunities and challenges in 2015 when Vietnam signs the Trans Pacific Partnership agreement and a number of Free Trade Agreements. Delegates at a Tuesday seminar in Hanoi, said that businesses must improve their knowledge of laws to better protect themselves in the integration process.

Connectivity between big and small businesses will help them obtain capital resources and advanced technologies and improve their management capability, said Bui Thu Thuy, deputy head of the Business Development Division of the Ministry of Planning and Investment: "We are cooperating with related ministries and sectors to set up programs to support businesses in applying for loans via the banking system. The Ministry of Planning and Investment is negotiating with the World Bank on a project to increase the capacity of small and medium sized enterprises. We have also prepared policies to help enterprises improve their competitiveness."
