(VOVworld) –Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue has called on Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) to continue assisting Vietnamese Government agencies in working with international rating organizations.

At Wednesday’s reception for Nirukt Sapru, General Director of Standard Chartered Bank in Vietnam, Hue suggested SCB help Vietnam in experience sharing and policy recommendation. He also asked SCB to work with international rating organizations to make comprehensive and objective assessments of Vietnam’s socio-economic situation, thus improving Vietnam’s image in the international arena.

Sapru pledged the Bank’s continued assistance for Vietnam in updating information on the world financial market, developing the domestic market, and other macro-economic issues.
