State President visits Thanh Hoa province
(VOVworld) – President Truong Tan Sang toured a number of models for agricultural production and new rural development during a visit to Thanh Hoa province on Thursday and Friday.
Visiting Song Chang, one of the 18 youth villages along the HCM Highway, President Sang said that this model should be replicated in remote and mountain areas nationwide: “The young are an important force in economic development and national defense. They help to bring civilization to remote areas and to ensure equal development between urban and rural areas.”
President Sang also visited Nghi Son economic zone in eastern Thanh Hoa province. During talks with provincial leaders, President Sang called for a wider vision in planning work in order to make the most of the province’s strategic economic advantages.
