Students in UK promote Vietnamese culture

(VOVworld) - The Vietnamese Students Society in Bath, UK, (VietBathSoc) organized an art performance this week to promote Vietnam’s traditional cultural values to international friends. A program called the VietTet show entertained the audience with a fashion show of Vietnam’s traditional long dress (Ao Dai) and conical hat (Non la), a play featuring the green square sticky rice cake called Chung cake and the white round sticky rice cake called Day cake, and songs in praise of the motherland. Vietnamese dishes like chicken with steamed sticky rice, Chung cake, and spring rolls were served following the art performance.
