Syria’s official news agency SANA reported that Syrian forces have never used chemical weapons in Khan Shaykhun and elsewhere in the conflict-plagued Arab country because they don’t possess such munitions. The Syrian government said the UN report was political motivated to influence the investigation of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) mission.
