Techcombank Marathon 2025: Sporting event and community celebration

(VOVWORLD) -The 4th season of the Techcombank International Marathon ended on Sunday in Hanoi, involving 13,000 runners from 51 countries and territories.

A highlight of this year was the AI application on the running track to create personalized videos for each runner as a “brand ambassador” who spread the message of a healthy and active lifestyle.
In the men's marathon (42km), the first prize went to Ethiopian athlete Kure Ebisa Takele (2 hours 29 minutes 34 seconds). The second prize winner was Kenyan athlete Lilan Kennedy, and the third prize went to Vietnamese athlete Hoang Nguyen Thanh.

In the women's marathon (42km), all three leading positions belonged to Vietnamese athletes. National athlete Hoang Thi Ngoc Hoa finished first in 2 hours 54 minutes 19 seconds. Another national athlete, Bui Thi Thu Ha finished this race in 2 hours 57 minutes 3 seconds. Doan Thi Oanh came third in 2 hours 57 minutes 56 seconds.

In the men's 21km race, national athlete Nguyen Trung Cuong won the championship for 1 hour 10 minutes 7 seconds. The golden girl of Vietnamese athletics Nguyen Thi Oanh competed in the half marathon race (21km) and finished first in 1 hour 20 minutes 04 seconds.
