(VOVWORLD) - The Thai Nguyen Department of Finance held a networking conference on Thursday to promote cooperation between local enterprises and those from Incheon, South Korea.

The Korean delegation was introduced to Thai Nguyen’s strategic location, industrial strengths, and role as a leading hub for industry, education, and science–technology in northern Vietnam. The province has 232 FDI projects, totaling 11.3 billion USD, of which Korean companies, including Samsung Electronics and Hansol Electronics, account for a large share. Thai Nguyen’s authorities said they aim to attract more strategic partners, boost industrial cooperation, participate in global supply chains, and adopt advanced technologies for sustainable development.

Ryu Seok Hun, Director of BEST IN KOREA Vietnam and head of the Incheon business delegation, praised Thai Nguyen’s dynamic growth, especially in the electronics and high-tech industries. He said Incheon enterprises are interested in electronic component manufacturing, environmental technology, new materials, technical transfer, education, training, and tourism.
At the conference, businesses from both countries introduced their strengths and capabilities, and established networking for sustainable, long-term cooperation.
