Mr. Pham Hoang Son, Chairman of Thai Nguyen province’s People’s Committee, reviewed the province’s emulation movements in the previous term, saying they have fostered a dynamic and widespread spirit among officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, businesses, and all social strata, becoming a key driver of socio-economic development. As a result, the province has largely met and even surpassed the targets set by the 2020–2025 Provincial Party Congress, he said.
“The economy has continued to grow steadily, while cultural and social development has progressed positively. Social welfare has been safeguarded, and living standards have risen. The political system has been reinforced, with notable improvements in administrative reform and digital transformation. Meanwhile, national defense and security have been ensured, and the province’s external relations have been effectively strengthened,” Mr. Son said.
For the 2025-2030 period, Thai Nguyen Province aims to focus its emulation movements on achieving the goal of becoming a modern industrial hub with upper-middle income status before 2030, with an average annual GRDP growth rate of 10.5%.
Speaking at the congress, Mr. Do Van Chien, President of the Central Committee of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front, offered strong praise for the achievements made by Thai Nguyen Province. He affirmed that patriotic emulation movements have become a key driving force contributing to the province’s transformation into a development hub of the Northern midland and mountainous region.
Mr. Chien also added that in the coming time, Thai Nguyen should ensure that every emulation movement is closely linked with specific political tasks and development goals of each sector and field, turning them into practical and dynamic action programs that reflect the creativity, initiative, and strong determination of every individual and collective across the province.
