(VOVworld) - The 5th International Documentary Film Festival is taking place in Hanoi and will continue in Ho Chi Minh City from June 10th to 29th.

The event was held by the Vietnam Central Scientific and Documentary Film Studio in cooperation with its counterparts from Belgium, Germany, Sweden, France, Poland, Spain, Switzerland and the UK. The audience are treated to one European and one Vietnamese documentary film each night. Pham Thi Tuyet is the chief organizer of the festival: "What special in this year’s documentary film festival is that we screen a collection of Belgium documentary films. Belgium film was also selected to screened on the opening of the festival. The festival also includes 7 films of 6 Southeast Asian countries.".
