(VOVworld)- The Vietnam-Finland Friendship Association has opened its 2^nd national in Hanoi. Addressing the congress, Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations General Secretary Nguyen Thi Hoang Van praised the association’s efforts to promote peace, solidarity and friendship with Finland over the past years, while asking it to expand cooperation in all fields. She urged the association to be active in reaching friends and counterparts to encourage more public participation and network to the youth. Finnish ambassador, Kimmo Lahdevirta, pledged to do his best to strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
