Top leader hands over appointment decisions to new ambassadors
(VOVWORLD) - Party General Secretary and State President To Lam on Friday handed over appointment decisions to the newly-appointed Vietnamese ambassadors to the United Nations, Cambodia, Singapore and Ukraine.

Noting that each locality has its own specific advantages and challenges, the top leader emphasized that foreign affairs are now defined as a vital, routine, and comprehensive task.
The diplomats affirmed their commitments to prioritizing national interests above all else, integrating the three pillars of Party external relations, State diplomacy, and people-to-people diplomacy, and linking diplomacy with defense and security.
