(VOVworld) - The first Traditional Vietnamese Instruments Festival opened at the Hue city Information and Culture Centre this week as part of the 2012 National Tourism Year in the north central coastal area. The six-day festival features more than 380 artists from 19 professional art troupes across the country. Pham Duc Thang, Deputy Head of Performing Arts Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, told VOV: "This festival gathers all kinds of performing arts. It’s too soon to decide which participating troupe is the best. I think each troupe has its own unique style of performance."
