Traffic police help people on the way home for Tet

(VOVWORLD) -Traffic police forces across Vietnam have set up aid stations and offered gifts to motorbike drivers on national highways returning home for the Lunar New Year (Tet) holidays.

In Thai Nguyen, the provincial traffic police has given out 100 gifts including candy, jam, tea, and coffee to people on their way home.

The Quang Nam traffic police force set up rest stops, distributed free drinks to people, and gave helmets to returners to their hometown for Tet.
Ham Tan Traffic Police Station of the Binh Thuan Provincial Police Department worked together with volunteers to set up gift-giving points for people in difficult circumstances on their way home on National Highway 1A.

They prepared and distributed 350 gifts including Chung cake, candy, drinks, cool towels, and fruit. Special red envelopes and teddy bears were also given out to those with children.
