The two-day event was attended by around 300 South Korean and North Korean representatives, including those from South Korean reconciliation and cooperation council, and religious and international organizations. The event announced a time frame for implementing the historic Panmunjom Declaration and the Pyongyang Joint Declaration signed by President Moon Jae-in and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at their summits in April and September.

The two sides have agreed to boost exchanges and discussions in a number of sectors in the coming weeks.
