The 11- year Afghan war is seeing an alarming increase of “insider attacks”. 50 members of the US-led International Assistance Force (ISAF) have been killed by their colleagues in the Afghan army and police, as NATO attempts to transfer security responsibilities to Afghan forces before all foreign combat troops pull out in 2014.
