Italy reaffirmed its support for Ukraine with the new weapons package, but the League Party within the ruling coalition once again issued warnings about cases of corruption in Ukraine.

The United States approved on Tuesday a 105-million-USD deal to help Ukraine upgrade and maintain its Patriot missile defense system. The US State Department said it notified Congress of the deal, which includes the provision of components, training, and services for the system Ukraine uses to intercept missiles.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez announced on Tuesday that Spain will give Ukraine a new aid package worth 946 million USD and purchase 116 million USD worth of US military equipment under NATO’s Ukraine Priority Requirements List (PURL) initiative.
