(VOVworld) – UN  Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has strongly denounced Taliban’s attack in Afghanistan’s capital Kabul on Friday. The explosion killed 21 people including 4 UN officials and the Head of the IMF in Afghanistan.

Mr. Ban told a press conference on Sunday that this was another sad moment for the United Nations, where their distinguished four colleagues were killed by an attack in Kabul. He extended his deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
He affirmed that the UN remains committed to work for the peace, stability and development of Afghanistan. He underlined that the UN fully supports the transition of Afghanistan toward better future in peace, development and security.
