(VOVworld)-The Vietnamese Government will create favorable conditions for the implementation of the US Eisenhower Fellowship program in Vietnam. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai stated this yesterday while receiving the fund’s President John Wolf in Hanoi. Mr. Hai appreciated the program’s expansion in Vietnam which will contribute to the development of  Vietnamese human resources. Mr. Wolf said that qualified Vietnamese candidates are encouraged to apply for the fellowships awarded by this fund in South East Asia. The Eisenhower Fellowship Fund is a non-profit, non-governmental organization established in 1953 to honor US President Dwight Eisenhower. The fund, which is supported by donations from Amerian individuals, organizations and firms, has awarded scholarships to over 2000 candicates from 100 countries. 200 fellows have been from South East Asia.
