(VOVworld) - The FBI and the Department of Homeland Security warned this week of possible terror threats posed by the Islamic State inside the US. Their latest intelligence bulletin said IS militants are trying to recruit or incite like-minded individuals who are willing to conduct attacks against US troops at military bases or in public places. The warning advised US soldiers to be careful about their communications through social media accounts.

The US-led coalition is increasing air strikes in and around Syria’s Raqua city, the capital of the Islamic State.

US Vice President Joe Biden, now in Turkey, talked with Turkish leaders about the creation of a no-fly zone along the Turkey-Syria border to support Syria’s opposition forces and expand the air strike campaign from Turkish bases.
