(VOVworld) - Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations Hoang Binh Quan urged the US to continue its coordination with Vietnam in resolving the war aftermath and to broaden bilateral collaboration.
At a reception hosted by Quan in Hanoi on Wednesday, Matt Salmon, visiting Chairman of the Subcommittee on Asia and the Pacific of the US House of Representatives’ Foreign Affairs Committee, said the US attaches great importance to its comprehensive partnership with Vietnam.
Mr. Salmon said Vietnam and the US have a great potential to improve bilateral ties.
