(VOVWORLD) - Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh has appealed for more donations to the National Fund for Vietnamese Children.

Ms. Thinh, who is Chairwoman of the Fund, opened a charity program called “Spring for kids” organized by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs in Hanoi on Sunday night. The Fund has so far raised 240 million USD to benefit 33 million children. During Sunday’s program, 4.1 million USD was raised.
