(VOVworld) – Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan met with former Truong Son female drivers in Hanoi on Friday.

She said that the women, who served during the war with the US, represent the strength of the Vietnamese people to defeat any foreign aggressor. She also hoped that they will continue to set examples for younger generations to follow in implementing party guidelines and state policies and in developing the homeland.
