(VOVworld)- Vietnam Airlines has been certified a 4-star airline by the UK airline and airport rating organisation Skytrax. Skytrax CEO Edward Plaisted handed over the certification to Vietnam Airlines President and CEO Duong Tri Thanh at the World Airline Awards in London on Tuesday.

He said  this 4-Star Airline rating is an excellent achievement for Vietnam Airlines and the result of their hard work across a range of product and service areas. He said Skytrax has recognised the considerable changes and improvements that Vietnam Airlines has achieved from bettering the quality services of Business Class to overhauling cabin staff training, which will help the airline strengthen its position as a 4-star airline. With the new certification, Vietnam Airlines is being listed among top global airlines such as Air France, Emirates, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, and Lufthansa.
