(VOVworld) - Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Tia Banh has visited Vietnam as part of a bilateral agreement.

During a reception in Ho Chi Minh City, Defense Minister, General Phung Quang Thanh, said Vietnam always supports and unites with Cambodian people and army in national construction and defense: “Cooperation between the two defense ministries take place comprehensively between army units, academies, military zones and border areas. This reflects both sides’ desire for peace, stability and development for mutual benefit.”

During talks, both sides confirmed efficient defense cooperation as a key pillar in national relations. Cooperation in training and border protection on land and at sea has facilitated economic development and security. They agreed to strengthen comprehensive cooperation to foster peace, friendship and development.
