(VOVworld) – The ongoing visit by Chinese Minister of Culture Cai Wu will strengthen the friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two countries. At the reception for Cai on Monday, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Le Hoang Quan said the city has built up cooperation with a number of Chinese localities such as Shanghai, Guangzhou, Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Zhejiang. Chinese investors have poured 300 million USD into 130 projects in Ho Chi Minh city.

Cai praised Vietnam’s successful organization of the 6^th meeting of the ASEAN Ministers Responsible for Culture & Arts in the central city of Hue.He said cultural exchanges played an important role in boosting cultural ties and helping the youth better understand each other’s culture.
