(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Ao Dai, traditional long dress for women, was introduced at an exhibition of ASEAN-China costumes in Beijing on Tuesday.         

Vietnam’s ‘Ao dai’ introduced at ASEAN-China fashion show

The exhibition, part of the 2014 ASEAN-China cultural exchange, displayed hundreds of costumes of famous designers from 10 ASEAN member countries. Designer Lan Huong is representing Vietnam at the event: "I  carefully prepared for the event, where I introduced a collection of silk Ao dai made in Hanoi’s Van Phuc craft village and decorated with hand-made embroidery patterns by artisans from Khuat Dong village in Thuong Tin.”

The exhibition will continue until Friday.
