Vietnam has joined UN Peace Keeping Operations since June, 2014.

(VOVworld) – Vietnam’s participation in UN Peace Keeping Missions since June reflects its long-term commitment to maintaining world peace and security, said Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga, Vietnamese Permanent Representative to the UN. At Thursday’s meeting of the UN General Assembly’s 4^th committee review of UN peace keeping activities, Ms Nga said all UN peace keeping operations should focus on resolving the root causes of conflict, settling dispute peacefully, and addressing conflicts in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.
