Vietnam condoles with Myanmar on jade mine disaster

(VOVWORLD) - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Thursday extended his condolence to State Counselor of Myanmar Daw Aung San Suu Kyi over a jade mine collapse caused by heavy rain in Kachin state, northern Myanmar.

On the same day, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh sent sympathy to Minister of International Cooperation of Myanmar U Kyaw Tin.

The Vietnamese leaders offered deep condolences to the Myanmar people  over the casualties caused by the disaster and expressed Vietnamese people’s solidarity and willingness to share difficulties with the people of Myanmar. They said they believe that Myanmar would quickly overcome disaster aftermaths.
