(VOVWORLD) -The Vietnam Business Council for Sustainable Development of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce on Wednesdayreleased the Corporate Sustainability Index (CSI) Assessment Program 2024.

The Program’s Secretariat announced the evaluation and appraisal process of three main stages. They include preliminary assessment in line with the CSI, appraisal by authorities, and assessment by the Steering Committee of the Assessment Council.
This year, the CSI is composed of 62% compliance indicators and 38% advancement indicators.
Nguyen Quang Vinh, Vice President of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), said: “The indicators on climate change response, energy transition, circular economy, and especially governance, society, and environment (GSE) are also integrated into the CSI. With over 150 indicators, the CSI will make the assessment more comprehensive.”
