This is the first time the forum has been held outside Singapore. More particularly, the event coincided with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam-Singapore diplomatic relations and the 10th anniversary of their strategic partnership.

Mr. Khai said Vietnam hopes that Singapore, as a leading financial center in the region and home to multinational corporations and world leading investment funds, will continue to support Vietnam in accessing mobility investment sources and green, sustainable financial sources.

Deputy PM Khai emphasized that in the sixth decade of bilateral relations, Vietnam and Singapore still have many potentials for cooperation that need to be unlocked.

Vietnam has determined economic-investment-trade cooperation as the key to the bilateral strategic partnership with Singapore and the Vietnamese government will create favorable conditions for investors including those from Singapore, he said.

At the forum 12 Memorandums of Understanding were signed on sustainability, digitalization, financial services, and personnel development.

Themed “Strengthening regional collaboration for sustainable growth”, the SRBF gathered 800 business leaders, senior government officials, diplomats from 32 countries and economies.
