Vietnam Farmers’ Association opens its 5th executive committee session

(VOVworld)-The Vietnam Farmers’ Association held its 5th session in Hanoi on Tuesday to review measures to boost agricultural production. Delegates looked at challenges facing farming production and reviewed activities to support farmers in the building of new rural areas. The association executive committee chairman, Nguyen Quoc Cuong says it plans to admit 300,000 new members and provide training for 120,000 association staff this year:“The association branches will speed up preparation for congresses at all levels and complete their work plans. Farmers will be encouraged to participate in the building of new rural areas and achieve this year’s production targets.”
