Vietnam Fatherland Front delegation visits France

(VOVworld) - Chairman of France’s Socio-economy and Environment Council Jean Paul Delevoye has said that the President and people of France all want to boost relations with Vietnam in economics, politics, culture and education. He made the remarks at a reception for a delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, headed by Chairman Huynh Dam during their working visit to France. Dam said he hoped the two sides will work out measures to a number of issues of mutual concern such as environmental protection and economic development: “We hope that the two governments will soon sign a joint statement to elevate bilateral ties to the level of strategic partnership. This will also help to ensure peace and stability in the region and the world.”

Jean Paul Delevoye said his agency is willing to connect Vietnam with other agencies in France and Europe: “As the two countries are working toward a strategic partnership, we support cooperation between the Vietnam Fatherland Front and our Council. After listening to the opinions of the people and businesses, we will discuss solutions to our issues of common concern. We will try our best to meet your requirements for effective cooperation.”

He also said that France is willing to share its experiences with Vietnam in areas of its potential such as science and the environment.
