Vietnam, Japan to boost investment ties

President Tran Dai Quang made the statement during a reception for a delegation from the Japan-Vietnam Economic Committee under the Japan Business Federation (Keidanren) in Hanoi on Tuesday. He said the Vietnamese government will give optimal conditions for Japanese businesses to conduct business in the local market.

He asked Keidanren to continue coordinating with Vietnam to entice more Japanese investment in Vietnam’s prioritized sectors.

Chairman of the Japan-Vietnam Economic Committee, Kuniharu Nakamura, said Keidanren will collaborate with Vietnam in the implementation of the Vietnam-Japan Joint Initiative, thus boosting foreign investment in Vietnam.
