(VOVworld)- Ho Chi Minh City’s People’s Committee on Friday held a ceremony to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between Vietnam and Malaysia. Addressing the ceremony, the Malaysian Consul General in Ho Chi Minh City Sharryl Zahiran said: “This is the manifestation of strong relations with Malaysia and Vietnam continues to share towards the greater goal of both nations. Apart from the excitement of the economic front, I believe one could not avoid noticing the number of Malaysians making their visits to Vietnam. This shows how well Malaysians are accepted in Vietnam and how close the relations one country could experience with its international friends”.
