(VOVworld) – A meeting took place in Hanoi on Wednesday to celebrate the 40^th anniversary of Vietnam-Netherlands diplomatic relations on April 9^th. Dutch Ambassador to Vietnam Joop Cheffers said at the meeting that Vietnam and the Netherlands share several similarities, such as being coastal nations and having an agricultural economy, which are advantages for expanding their relationship.

Cheffers expressed his belief that the favorable development momentum and the achievements gained over the past 40 years will foster bilateral friendship and comprehensive cooperation.
