(VOVworld)- Russia’s First Deputy Prime Minister Igor Ivanovich Shuvalov will attend the 18^th session of the Vietnam-Russia Inter-Governmental Committee for Economic, Trade, Scientific and Technological Cooperation on Wednesday. The visit is being made at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai. Mr. Igor Shuvalov is the co-chairman of the Committee. The Vietnam-Russia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership has developed rapidly in the areas of politics, economics, trade, investment, energy, national defense, education, training, and culture. Both sides have increased high-ranking exchanges and worked closely at international forums including the UN, APEC, and ASEM, and within the framework of ASEAN-Russia cooperation.
