(VOV) - Two Russian press agencies, ITAR-TASS and RIA-Novosti, have covered Vietnam National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung’s ongoing visit to Russia. ITAR-TASS said effective cooperation between the two countries’ legislative bodies will make significant contributions to the comprehensive strategic partnership between Hanoi and Moscow. Both ITAR-TASS and RIA-Novosti reported that in addition to meetings with Saint Petersburg leaders and senior officials, Mr. Hung will hold talks with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Chairman of the Russian Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, and Chairman of the Russian State Duma Sergey Nayshkin.

The Russian Federation Council said a large number of Russian reporters have registered to cover Mr. Hung’s activities in Russia.
