Vietnam sees no new COVID-19 community transmission in 56 days
(VOVWORLD) - The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said Thursday that Vietnam has gone 56 days without a domestically transmitted COVID-19 infection and still has recorded no COVID-19 deaths.

According to the committee, 320 of 332 cases, 96.4 percent of the cases in the country, have made a full recovery from the illness. 192 of those cases were individuals who were infected abroad and were quarantined upon their arrival in Vietnam.
