Vietnam shares experiences in economic, population development to achieve SDGs

(VOVWORLD) - Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Tran Duy Dong shared Vietnam's efforts and achievements in economic and population development to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at a UN meeting in New York on Wednesday.

Mr. Dong’s speech at the UN Economic and Social Council meeting emphasized Vietnam’s solutions on poverty reduction, population, and gender equality.

The session was attended by more than 30 ministers, deputy ministers, and representatives from UN member countries.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the Vietnamese delegation and their counterparts from Australia, Laos, and Cambodia co-hosted an event on sustainable development and growth.
