(VOVworld) – The APEC foreign ministerial meeting opened Friday in Indonesia as part of the 21st Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation Summit and related meetings in Bali, Indonesia from Oct. 1^st to 8^th. The Vietnamese delegation is led by Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Cam Tu.

The APEC foreign ministerial meeting focuses on proposals agreed at the APEC Senior Official Meeting, as well as preparations for the 2013 APEC Summit’s agenda scheduled for next week. Topics for discussion includes the implementation of the Bogor goals on trade liberalization and investment, the promotion of fair and sustainable growth, the increase of regional connection, and issues related to the 9^th WTO ministerial meeting to take place in Bali this December in order to promote the Doha Round of talks.
