“The restructuring will have a significant impact on the public, so it must be conducted carefully, systematically, and decisively. The Ministry of Education and Training is fully aware of its responsibility in this important matter, which requires the concerted efforts and consensus of central ministries and agencies, local authorities, and all higher and vocational education institutions nationwide.”

The Ministry of Education and Training has been assigned to develop two projects: one on reorganizing and restructuring higher and vocational education institutions, and another on transferring some of these institutions to local management.

The Ministry will soon submit both projects to the Prime Minister for approval, with implementation expected to begin in 2026.
