Vietnam treasures its relations with Austria

(VOVworld) – The Vietnamese Party and State treasure the Austrian people’s past and current solidarity and support for Vietnam. Ha Thi Khiet, Head of the Party Central Committee's Commission for Mass Mobilization, made the statement while meeting in Austria on Thursday with Austrian Communist Party leaders, Austrian People’s Party members, and representatives of overseas Vietnamese. Ms. Khiet is leading a Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) delegation on an 8-day visit to Hungary, the Czech Republic, and Austria, starting early this week.

At a meeting with overseas Vietnamese in Vienna, Ms. Khiet praised their contributions to their homeland, especially their activities in protest of China’s recent violation of Vietnam’s exclusive economic zone and continental shelf.
