The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt and the Vietnamese Embassy in the United Arab Emirates are urgently issuing new passports to the three Vietnamese crew members.

They have lost all their personal documents due to the attack and, this Wednesday, will likely receive new passports issued by the Vietnamese diplomatic representative agency in the UAE.

A death certificate for the crew member killed in the attack will also be completed before Wednesday.

The Vietnamese Embassy in Egypt also reported that the Vietnamese sailors are in stable health and mental conditions.
