(VOVworld)-The Vietnam UK Friendship Association has completed its 3^rd national congress in Hanoi and elected an executive committee of 40 members. Permanent Deputy Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Hoang Van Dung, was re-elected Chairman of the association for a 5 year-term. Chairman of Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, Vu Xuan Hong, praised the association’s recent achievement, saying that this event marks a milestone in people diplomacy and implementation of Party resolution. He called for more efforts to seek for new partners while expanding activities to boost cooperation in trade, culture and education and network expansion.
