(VOVworld) - Vietnam’s Steering Board for the National Action program on resolving consequences of unexploded ordnance led by Deputy Minister of Defence Nguyen Chi Vinh has paid a working visit to the US to deal with this issue.

During the visit, the Vietnamese delegation is expected to work with the Department of State, the Department of Defense and some US Congressmen. They also met representatives from the UN Development program, the United Nations Mine Action Service and some landmine technology research units to find out measures to overcome consequences of unexploded ordnance after the war in Vietnam.
