Vietnam values multilateral cooperation and UNESCO’s role

(VOVWORLD) -Vietnam attaches great importance to multilateral cooperation and the role of UNESCO in particular, and commits to contribute more to the organization’s activities as a member of its Executive Board for the 2021-2025 term, said Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Pham Quang Hieu.

Mr. Hieu made the statement at the discussion of the UNESCO Executive Board's 214th session earlier this week in Paris, which was attended by representatives from 58 member countries.

The UNESCO Executive Board's session, which will run until April 13, is discussing more than 50 topics on the organization’s activities.

It is expected to approve a list of new and expanded global geoparks, including Vietnam’s Non Nuoc Cao Bang.
