(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam Week 2024, organized by the Vietnam Society to celebrate traditional Vietnamese culture and inspire future generations, concluded last week at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Asian Art in Washington.

The event featured performances showcasing the royal attire of the Nguyen Dynasty, demonstrations of woodblock prints from "The Tale of Kieu", a selection of traditional Hue dishes, re-enactments of 19th-century royal processions, and a youth forum on heritage and peace.
This year's event was a collaboration between the Vietnam Society, young Vietnamese living and working in the US, researchers from Vietnam, and representatives from several US states.
