Vietnam Women’s Union raises 100,000 households out of poverty

(VOVworld) – The Vietnam Women’s Union has helped around 115,000 households escape poverty and built 3,000 charity houses for disadvantaged women this year, an achievement that was celebrated at the 7th session of the 11th Vietnam Women’s Union congress on Friday in Hanoi.

This year, the Vietnam Women’s Union has applied more creative methods to make their operation more effective, better care for the women, and consult on women related policies. They also launched movement to encourage Vietnamese women to unite and innovate in order to meet goals for this year.
