Vietnamese citizens back from Libya are supported

(VOVworld) – The Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs has asked enterprises to evacuate and support Vietnamese laborers from Libya as the unrest continues to escalate there.

The Vietnamese embassy in Turkey has safely transported 113 Vietnamese workers to Vietnam. Nguyen Ngoc Quynh, Head of the Department of Overseas Labor Management under the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, said: "Every worker wants to come back. We asked the enterprises to inform workers about the real situation. We will take into consideration the laborers’ situation and support them in accordance with the State’s regulations". 

The contractors also committed to assuring safety and give the best possible support to the workers in case of further unrest happening.
