Vietnamese consumers more optimistic about economic outlook
(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese consumers have become more optimistic about the country's economic outlook and their personal financial situation, according to the Q3 survey by market research company NielsenIQ (NIQ), published over the weekend.

Up to 45% of respondents believe that the national economy is not in a recession, an increase of 3 percentage points compared to Q1. Additionally, 67% stated that their personal financial situation has improved, marking steady progress over the past four consecutive quarters.
However, Vietnamese people remain proactive in controlling their spending and prioritizing saving. Among those surveyed, 83% said that saving is a habit, and 75% claimed they never let their wallets run dry. During the same period last year, these two habits were at 77% and 63%, respectively. Furthermore, 72% expressed a desire to save for the long term, an increase of 6 percentage points.
